Void Filling
A slab can sound solid and still be hollow underneath. Erosion and animal burrows leave voids; we fill them before the concrete breaks.
Downspouts, plumbing leaks, and burrowing animals wash out or dig out the soil under slabs. The concrete bridges the gap for a while, then cracks under load. A hollow sound when you tap the slab is the warning.
We inject polyurethane to fill the void and support the slab from below. The material won’t break down or wash away, so the fix doesn’t repeat itself. If the slab has already started to settle, we lift it back to grade in the same visit.
